Menus
Larapen uses a database-driven menu system. You can create and manage multiple menu groups from the admin panel.
Default Menu Groups
- Header Main: Primary navigation in the site header
- Footer Links: Footer column navigation links
- Footer Legal: Legal links (Privacy, Terms, etc.)
Menu Items
Each menu group contains menu items that can be:
- Links to internal pages
- Custom URLs (external links)
- Links to add-on routes (blog categories, shop categories, etc.)
- Anchors (for single-page scrolling)
Nesting
Menu items support up to 2 levels of nesting for dropdown menus. Drag and drop to reorder items.
Caching
Menus are cached for performance. The cache is automatically invalidated when menu items are added, edited, or deleted.
